In the early portions of the lead up to the draft, and throughout most of April, UCLA's all purpose linebacker, Myles Jack was a consensus top 5 pick, and a superstar in the waiting. Well all of that talk has taken a halt, as the New York Giants, reported that they have taken Myles Jack competently of the their board. There is now talk across league circles that he may have a Warren Sapp, Aaron Rodgers fall and may even be out of top 15. I personally feel Jack is a generational type player, who has an uncanny ability to shadow and mirror receivers like a coverage corner-back. He can fit any scheme, as 4-3 outside backer, and 3-4 mike backer, and come very handy for 3-4 teams as he be able to be three down backer even in their base defense. Could this be a huge smokescreen, to potenitally get a differnce making linebacker to fall, or is this just another case of the best that never was !
