At Dean College this week, Student Activities Committee will be airing two showings of the holiday classic ELF starring Will Ferell, the showtimes are at 8 o'clock and 10 o'clock inside of the science building, Also At Dean next week is the end of the semester Winter days which will be fun filled activities such as hot coco, stuffing your own bear and much more, Winter days are set to be on December 8 and 9th inside of the campus center. In local news It’s the season of giving and the American Cancer Society in Massachusetts is seeking volunteers who are willing to give a hand, or in this case a ride, to help cancer patients get to their treatment appointments.

The Society’s “Road to Recovery” program offers free rides to anyone going to cancer treatment appointments using volunteer drivers. In other news a little Eatley opens up inside the Prudential Center in Boston . It is part specialized grocery store, food court, coffee house, restaurant and cooking school. It boasts of 10,000 products imported from Italy and produced by New England farmers, as well as numerous counters, two cafes, and four restaurants. In house, chefs make rustic loaves, focaccia, and paninis, mozzarella cheese, pasta, gelato, tiramisu and other desserts, and Neapolitan pizza, each with its own staffed sales counter.

In Sports Last night the Boston bruins beat the Carolina hurricanes 2-1 in a shootout in side of the TD Garden improving the Bruins to a 13 10 and 1 record.
